Biography
R. Michael Rodé received a J.D. (Juris Doctor) from Queen’s University in 2008, following 22 years of service in the Canadian Forces. He retired as a Major. During his military service, he had the privilege of living and working throughout Canada from coast to coast, including the high Arctic. R. Michael Rodé was appointed as the Canadian Exchange officer with the British Army Air Corps for two years. He deployed on peacekeeping missions to the Sinai, Nicaragua, Somalia and the Former Yugoslavia. Through his experiences, R. Michael Rodé gained a thorough appreciation for Canadian society and the protections we enjoy through the rule of law and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. R. Michael Rodé is committed to defending your rights as a criminal lawyer.
R. Michael Rodé is involved in the local community. He was the Treasurer for the Kingston Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association for nine years and he served on the Board of Directors for the Limestone Branch of St. John Ambulance for nine years as well.
